2004 – Twin Jack Adapter

We have become aware of a problem with some Micro System Twin Jack Adapters manufactured during 2003-2004.

When the Twin Jack Adapter is connected to an aircraft radio, a noticeable high pitched tone may occur during transmission (feedback).

Quality Problem:

This problem is the result of an incorrect component being fitted to the internal circuit board during the manufacture.

Equipment Affected:

Micro System Twin Jack Adapter

Date of Manufacture:

Twin Jack Adapters manufactured between June 2003 and September 2004 may exhibit this problem.

Product Labeling:

Twin Jack Adapters do not carry product version labels and must be identified from the date of manufacture or the date of purchase.

Additional Information:

Twin Jack Adapters that exhibit this problem should be returned to Lynx Avionics Ltd for modification.
